WORKFLOW ILLUSTRATIONExample

01 / Spoken request

“In Atlas, saving a note twice creates a duplicate. Keep the API unchanged. Add a regression test.”

02 / Reviewed draft

Project: Atlas Bug: Saving a note twice creates a duplicate. Constraint: Keep the API unchanged. Check: Add a regression test.

03 / Agent input

Paste the reviewed request into your coding agent. You choose when to send.

Static illustration, not a recorded product result. A filmed demo is coming.

Follow a spoken request from the first draft to your input field.

Your vocabulary. Your format. Your input field.

01

Give project names a spelling hint

Words → New word or sentence / Replace with...

Add “Atlas” as a spelling hint, or a replacement for a recurring mistake. Test a short sentence and check the name in the result.

Word: Atlas · Check identifiers before sending.
02

Choose how the draft is shaped

Styles → Coding Prompt → Rewrite → Your rules

Select Coding Prompt’s format settings, or add custom rules to organize a request. Review the facts and constraints yourself.

Example rule: “Use Bug, Constraint, and Check headings.”
03

Bring the draft to your current app

Settings → Shortcuts · Result → Copy

Focus an editable input and use your assigned recording shortcut. After processing, check the text and paste the corrected draft. If automatic paste fails, use Copy.

Claude Code / Cursor / Codex · Test your actual input field.

From explanation to a request you can check.

  1. 01Focus the input
  2. 02Use your shortcut
  3. 03Speak the request
  4. 04Stop and process
  5. 05Review the text
  6. 06Paste the final draft

Automatic paste can put text into the focused field before review. Check it there or in the result, correct it, and send it yourself. Sonicribe does not read your repository or run code.

A quick fit check.

For you if…

You use an Apple Silicon Mac, explain long requests, and can send the audio and text to cloud services under your work policy.

Skip it if…

You need local-only processing, cannot send audio to the cloud, or use Intel, Windows or mobile. If native dictation is enough, you may not need another subscription.

A NOTE FROM THE BUILDER

I dictate my own prompts.

I built Sonicribe for the moments when explaining a request aloud feels easier than typing it all. I still check the draft before sending it. Try it with one real, non-sensitive request from your own work.

See the setup and feature guide →

Before you download.

Can it paste into my coding-agent input?

With Accessibility permission and the correct input focused, Sonicribe attempts automatic paste after processing. Review the draft before sending. If paste fails, copy the result and paste manually; it does not submit or run commands.

Can I dictate mixed Korean/English technical terms?

Set Speech language in Settings → Listening, then keep recurring names and technical terms in Words. Dictate your Korean and English terms together and review identifiers, numbers, and negations in the draft.

What should I compare against Apple Dictation?

Try the same request with Apple Dictation. Compare vocabulary, optional formatting, app-specific styles and the editing needed. If the built-in tool meets your needs, you may not need an extra subscription.

Does it work offline or keep all processing on-device?

No. Sonicribe requires internet and a verified Google account. Audio is processed in the cloud. Choose a local workflow if your data must stay on-device.

Who is eligible for the trial, and what are its limits?

Eligible new accounts receive 100 free minutes with Groq Turbo once. No time limit. Recording pauses when the trial is used up; choose a plan to continue. Check eligibility after Google sign-in. Downloading alone does not activate the trial.

What are the plans, and how are credits used?

With Groq Turbo, Pro is US$7/month for up to about 2,500 minutes a month and Max is US$20/month for up to about 10,700 minutes a month. Other models use more credits; AI cleanup shares the same balance. Paid plans renew monthly, unused credits reset monthly, and recording pauses at zero credits.

Which hardware platforms are supported?

The current app is for Apple Silicon Macs. Check your Mac’s chip and microphone; a desktop Mac may need an external microphone.

Why are microphone and Accessibility permissions needed?

Microphone permission allows recording. Accessibility permission is used for automatic paste into another app. If paste fails, review and copy the result manually.

When should I speak and when should I type?

Try speech for a long bug or feature explanation. Short precise edits and exact identifiers may be easier to type. Compare the finished request, including corrections and processing time.

What data leaves my Mac during processing?

Audio goes to cloud speech processing. Optional AI formatting also processes text, rules and vocabulary with external providers. Read the privacy policy and your employer’s rules before using sensitive data. Provider retention policies differ.

Does audio still use the cloud when AI formatting is off?

Yes. Exactly as spoken skips optional AI formatting, but speech processing still sends audio to a cloud provider. Locally saved transcripts do not mean local-only processing.

Does it support Android, iPhone, Windows or Intel Macs?

No current installer is offered for those platforms. Choose based on the device you use today; no release date is promised here.

Does text appear live while I speak?

No. The draft is returned after you stop and processing finishes. Review the text before sending it to your agent.

Why use another app when my agent already has native voice?

You may not need one. Compare your native workflow with Sonicribe’s vocabulary, custom formatting rules and use across your actual Mac input fields. Test the same request and count the edits.

How do I handle recurring project-name mistakes?

Add spelling hints or word/replacement pairs in Words. Use New group for project terms and choose the group in your style’s Voice section. Dictate a short sentence with the project name and refine the entry around the spelling you need.

Try your next long request aloud.
