Sonicribe Cloud Trial: 100 Free Minutes, No Time Limit

What the Sonicribe trial includes

Eligible new accounts can try Sonicribe Cloud with 100 free minutes with Qwen3-ASR, with no time limit. The trial provides a limited opportunity to evaluate the app before choosing a paid plan. It does not replenish every week or provide ongoing free use.

Sonicribe requires an Apple Silicon Mac, a Google account, and internet access. Windows and Intel Macs are unsupported. Audio is sent to online speech services for transcription; optional AI formatting also uses online services.

Prepare a useful trial

Choose three ordinary tasks you would otherwise type: a short message, a paragraph of notes, and an outline. Use invented names and sample details if the material would otherwise contain sensitive information.

Before recording, decide what a successful result would look like. For a message, that might mean correct names and punctuation with only a small edit. For notes, it might mean keeping every task, owner, and date. For an outline, it might mean preserving your intended order.

Download the app from the download page, complete Google sign-in, and check trial eligibility and the available balance. Grant the permissions the recording workflow requests. Check the selected speech service and its language support before starting.

Test speech before adding formatting

First record a short passage and review the transcript. Count the corrections you actually need to make, especially names, numbers, acronyms, and negations. A fluent sentence can still contain the wrong date or reverse your meaning.

Then try optional formatting on a separate sample. Compare its result with the original transcript: did it keep the facts, remove useful detail, or add a statement you never made? Formatting is an additional online step and consumes the same credits.

Keep a simple record of each task, credits before and after, and time spent editing. Avoid converting the balance into a guaranteed word or minute allowance: service selection and formatting change usage.

Choose a paid plan from measured usage

Use the trial results to estimate your normal workload. Include formatting whenever you expect to use it. If you only measured plain speech, your estimate will omit that additional cost.

With Qwen3-ASR, Pro provides up to about 2,500 minutes a month at US$7/month. Max provides up to about 10,700 minutes a month at US$20/month. Pick the allowance that fits measured usage and your budget; neither plan promises unlimited use. A longer recording or more expensive service can consume the balance differently from a short test.

At unchanged monthly rates, twelve months cost US$84 for Pro or US$240 for Max, before taxes. These totals describe subscription prices, not how much work fits into the credits.

Check the processing boundary before continuing

An app installed on your Mac can still process audio online. Local history or pasting text into a desktop app does not make transcription local. Review the privacy policy and any workplace rules before uploading recordings.

If you need speech processing without internet or external audio processing, choose a separate local workflow. Sonicribe Cloud requires connectivity for its online services.

Finish the evaluation

At the end of your test, compare editing time, remaining credits, and whether the app fits the destinations you use. Continue with a paid plan only when the workflow and recurring cost make sense for you. Trial use ends at its time limit or when credits are exhausted.
